Kinja'd!!!

Even here in the Pacific Northwest, where our winter roads are salt-free and where the Asian imports first established their beachheads into America, the Mitsubishi Sigma is a rare sight on our roads. And I saw one last night, in the car park at the gym, next to my Fiat.

Kinja'd!!!

It might have even been this exact car (above), a pic of which I just found on the internet.

Kinja'd!!!

I've never quite understood it, but I like these things. The frameless glass. The plasti-chrome schnoz. The skirted rear wheels. The crisp, angular lines with subtly rounded transitions. The slight "coke bottle" effect of the 6-window DLO. I dunno.

What forgotten cars do you have an inexplicable appreciation for?

one of my college room mates had one. Stock Nakamichi stereo and all. It was a great car. He got in a bad accident with it and then walked. I always look for them to see if there are any left. Good find!

I see more of them in junk yards than on the road. Same with the 1st gen ES250..:(
